Fun on the water:

This afternoon we all went to the dock and then took Laykin... and my dad and kevin out on the tube. they all had a blast. this was laykin's first "tube" experiance and by the look on her face.. she liked it! in this one, the guys were trying to get it out of the wake...
laykin wasn't so sure about it. then we had laykin get back in the boat and we took the guys for a real ride.. they later realized they are getting to old for this : ) they will really think that in the morning when they crawl out of bed and can't move...

this is laykin not so convinced that we needed to go home...

max + monica ::

i have know max & monica for a long time and was thrilled when monica booked their session. i LOVE photographing couples because i can get more stylish/modern/grunge shots, especially when you have a very stylish couple! any buildings that are old and falling down or abandon buildings, bright colored building and doors... i am all about it! so, needless to say... i had a lot of fun on this shoot.

Shane (my step-brother) and his beautiful wife Laine wanted me to take some pictures of them while they were here visiting from Texas. Of coarse I was honored. They are a fun couple and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to capture the fun and love they share. I can't wait til' they have kids so that I can photograph them too! : ) Here are some of my favs....

Happy 18th bubby...



My weee bro is 18!!!! I feel really old when my little brother, that is 8 years younger than me, is turning 18. The most recent pic I have of him was from prom. Isn't he a cutie. : )

It is crazy when I think of the little turd he was when he would sit on my head while I was laying on the floor watching TV at about the age of 2. He wanted all eyes on him and now he is "kinda" (tear, sniff.. sniff) a grown man that I am very proud of that is still a turd..... love ya jess! Happy Birthday

Happy 24th Jessi!!!


Saturday night we celebrated Jessi's 24th birthday... Here are some of the highlights!

First up... a little glamour/photo booth fun @ Jaren's house. Then off to Amanda's where she had this cute little princess themed party set for princess Jessi...
The other highlight of the evening... As those of you that know Jessi.. She & Matt are leaving very soon for their Jamaican Wedding & well Amanda surprised Jessi that she would be going along also..... It was so emotional.... LOVE IT!!!
The birthday girl and the always hot model..... AMANDA!!! Aren't they stunning.
I had such a good weekend with my best friends. I know it will go down in the book of memories. P.S. Missed you Steff!

Today is their 5 year anniversary and they wanted to document and celebrate their 5 years of marriage together. I think it was a wonderful idea and you can tell that they are still deeply in love. I am so honored to have been a part of this day. We had actually realized that we went to HS together too. Congrats you two!
