Whiterock/Shores Lake ::
This past weekend. Memorial Day Weekend. We went camping... Me, Kevin, Matt & Jessi took off saturday morning for a 3 hour drive southwest to a place that we go every year. It is kinda by Ft. Smith... anyway, the day we got there it rained and that night... but then the rest of the weekend was decent.. not great, but decent. We had a lot of fun anyway... like we always manage to do with these great friends of ours. They are so much fun to hang out with, they keep me laughing. great fun! Here are some landscape pics... for now. I will post more of the guys Kayaking, Matt & Jessi at their best and more later.....

Bath Time.
The other night Laykin was playing in the bath and I realized that I didn't have any suddsie hair pictures of her... now I do...
I like this one of her looking into the mirror of herself... "that's me?"

Alien Head::
Laykin made this Alien Head a couple of weeks ago out of a box with paper, tape, scissors and a pen... and ALL by herself!!! I thought it was genius!

This was taken at the new Gaston's Visitor Center on our Mother's Day Journey. The first image, on a hazy day, is straight out of the camera... the second is after processing with Photoshop! A little difference??

We always do something outside, just the 3 of us, on Mother's Day! It's a tradition now kinda...
We really didn't know where we were gonna go when we set off on our adventure. We went to check out the new Gaston's Visitor Center, then went through Gainesville to a place we found last Fall called.. Hodson Mill (may have spelled it wrong.. might be Hodgeson?? Opps!) Anyway- It's past Dawt Mill. It's a really neat place. Laykin was hoping for a park.. but we told her we would do that this weekend. So, here's a few pics of her throughout the day.

Preston + Donella::
I shot this wedding Friday. Donella is Kevin's aunt. It was a lot of fun... everyone was very relaxed and comical! I wish them the best.. Congrats! Here are some of the pictures in random order...

Donella's Mom (Kevin's grandma) made the cakes... It was georgeous!The Groom's cake. Can you tell he's a fisherman? : )
Donella's daughter, Alexa, was the Maid of Honor. She was so nervous to be up in front of everyone. It was cute... You can tell they have a great relationship.

The rings..... were beautiful!

The reception was so funny.... like this moment here....
